Eat Right — For You
Wellness
When it comes to wellness, Bon Appétit’s focus is on simple, delicious food — that happens to be good for you. To support long-term health, we are bringing more plants to menus every day in a craveable way, while emphasizing healthy cooking techniques. When healthy food tastes good, nourishing your body and mind becomes the easy choice.
Food Allergies
We serve thousands of guests with food allergies and sensitivities safely in our cafés every day. Our chefs, managers, and dietitians work closely with our food-allergic guests to create reasonable solutions to help them eat what they love. If you have questions about eating for your dietary needs in our cafés, reach out to us: we’ll gladly meet with you.
Sustainability
Wellness also includes the health of the animals, the workers, the community, and the Earth. They’re all connected. Bon Appétit has been committed to “food service for a sustainable future” for decades, and we’ve led the food service industry in tackling many important issues, such as cage-free eggs, antibiotics in animal production, and farmworker rights.

Common Questions
- I’ve been trying to eat a healthier diet. Will I be able to find a healthy food choice in my café?
- Can you tell me how many calories are in the foods in my café?
- How will you handle my concerns about a food allergy?
Allergen Information
Because we understand the desire for transparency into what’s in the food you’re eating, we have partnered with Bon Appétit to provide additional allergen and ingredient information for meals in our cafés. Allergen icons are used to identify the presence of one or more allergens in a dish and should be used as a guide; you will also see basic ingredient information for each dish on in café signage as well as online at cafebonappetit.com. Visit the menu page and click on the ingredients link button to view more.
here is some sample text.
We cook in open kitchens and while follow procedures to limit cross-contact, guests with food allergies should always ask a manager for individualized assistance.
Well-Being Indicator®
The Well-Being Indicator® represents more than just numbers. It’s an at-a-glance guide to help you navigate your food choices by comparing the nutritional value of one dish to another. The more full the arrow, the more healthful the dish is for you.
Because we care about your health, we offer a holistic nutrition program that makes it easy to find the healthful options in the café.

Welcome Video
Welcome!
Bon Appétit Management Company, Willamette University’s dining services partner, is very excited to welcome you to campus! As you’d expect in the time of COVID-19, we’re implementing some serious sanitation and social-distancing measures to ensure you can dine with us as safely and comfortably as possible. Get the full details on those here >>>
While COVID-19 safety is a key priority, it is not our only one. We still believe that food has an important role to play in individual wellness and in building culture and community here at Willamette. Our chefs will be cooking from scratch, using fresh local and seasonal ingredients that meet our sustainability standards. (We were thrilled when the Humane Society of the United States ranked Bon Appétit the #1 food service company, the only one with an A+ grade, in their recent Food Industry Scorecard!)
